Course description

This course will explore the basics of course development and review for degree programs offered at Conestoga College. The principles of outcomes-based education, the structure and format of course outlines and the processes involved in curriculum mapping (program and degree level outcomes, themes and scaffolding of knowledge) will be highlighted. Using a course as an example, you will work on your understanding of the integration of depth and breadth within and beyond the discipline which is expected in a degree course, and support your growth as an academic.
