Course description

This course focuses understanding the factors that influence cuisine. Culture, geography, history and religion impact a region’s cuisine. The course will review the flavours, ingredients, cooking techniques, and dining from a variety of countries. Students will explore the influence of world cuisines on the Canadian diet. Students will prepare dishes from countries throughout the world.
