Course description

This online course will prepare learners for an entry-level position in a long-term care home. Learners will practice infection prevention and control, best practices for housekeeping skills and long-term care procedures to support operations and the interprofessional team. Learners will practice communication skills through a person-centred care approach and explore effective workplace strategies such as professionalism and self-care.
