Course description

Automation is key to productivity and profitability in industry today. We will identify the advantages of PLCs and identify the main components such as CPU, I/O boards, and associated input/output devices. Topics covered include memory devices and memory storage, as well as an introduction to data storage and processing. In addition to covering memory utilization and memory mapping, the course also provides detailed information on multiprocessing and PLC scan functions.
