Course description

In this course, learners are introduced to the lifecycles of microorganisms including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. Learners explore relationships between microorganisms and the human body. Foundational concepts of immunology are introduced, including the immune system's components and responses. Nursing roles in preventing infectious spread, managing outbreaks, and detecting infection are addressed
