Course description

This course will teach students the fundamentals of using 3D modeling software to create a steel structure. It will consist of learning how to input the gridline system, modelling structural members (beams, columns, bracing, etc), creating suitable connections and learning how to create fabrication drawings. This course will also cover managing the 3D model in terms of generating reports, creating CNC files and using the power of its custom statuses to track real time progress.
