This micro-credential is aimed at participants who wish to help business reduce IT costs and physical space requirements while expanding their capability to run multiple environments that use different hardware and software settings. The courses in this micro-credential will teach the participant to install virtual machines and configure them for specific user needs as well as manage the performance to ensure optimal functionality. Students who successfully complete all courses in this micro-credential will receive a Recognition of Professional Development from Conestoga College.
Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses or workshops that focus on a specific discipline. Typically less than 136 hours and may or may not include formal assessment. The criteria are determined by the college.
