This micro-credential is aimed at participants that wish to work in a leadership role within an IT department. The courses in this micro-credential will teach the participant to develop a long-term strategy, aligning IT initiatives with business objectives. Participants will learn about the IT challenges that keep technology leaders up at night, and the strategies available for overcoming these obstacles. Emphasis is placed on how to become a true leader in the dynamic, ever-changing realm of technology. Students who successfully complete all courses in this micro-credential will receive a Recognition of Professional Development from Conestoga College.
Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses or workshops that focus on a specific discipline. Typically less than 136 hours and may or may not include formal assessment. The criteria are determined by the college.
