Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) Certification Part 1 & 2



In partnership with industry-leading Danatec, this micro-credential certifies successful graduates as Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) members recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Labour. Participants will gain an understanding of how to recognize, assess and control workplace hazards, the rights and duties of certified JHSC members, and how to conduct effective workplace inspections and incident investigations.

Completion Requirements

For successful completion of this micro-credential, students will successfully complete and pass all courses listed.



Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses that focus on a specific competency. Typically less than 136 hours and include assessment. The quality criteria are determined by the college.
