This program is aimed at participants who wish to enhance their leadership capacity in health care. Leading the way, understanding and communicating the context, motivating others with clarity and vision, and building collaboration and culture to achieve common goals – all of these and more are required of effective health care managers. Students will investigate current health care issues and their implications, and build professional and personal leadership capacity. Upon completion of the 2 courses, students will receive a Recognition of Professional Development from Conestoga College. These courses also form part of the Healthcare Administration Management Post Graduate Certificate Program.
Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses or workshops that focus on a specific discipline. Typically less than 136 hours and may or may not include formal assessment. The criteria are determined by the college.
