This micro-credential is aimed at participants that wish to develop a basic website. The learning outcomes will provide the skills necessary to build a website by using a popular content management system, as well as building a website from conception to implementation. The skills learned in this micro-credential will be of interest to individuals wishing to build a working website for their own company as well as anyone wishing to investigate a career move to website production. The first course will introduce you to the fundamentals of building a website using the universal language of HTML. The remaining courses will expose you to creating websites with the aid of a content management system to adding dynamic and special effects to a webpage. Students who successfully complete all three courses will receive a Recognition of Professional Development from Conestoga College.
Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses or workshops that focus on a specific discipline. Typically less than 136 hours and may or may not include formal assessment. The criteria are determined by the college.
