The Modern Board: Board Governance micro-credential helps prepare current and prospective Board members to successfully take on the challenge and privilege of serving on a Board. Through discussions, reflections and case scenarios of board governance, students will learn the key tools and techniques to become a successful contributing member of a non-profit board of directors.
Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses or workshops that focus on a specific discipline. Typically less than 136 hours and may or may not include formal assessment. The criteria are determined by the college.
