Course description

This module provides students with an understanding of welding principles. Upon successful completion students will be able to maintain and use oxy-acetylene and arc welding equipment at a basic level including welding, brazing, flame cutting and electric arc welding in the flat and horizontal positions. NOTE: Students must provide their own safety shoes/boots, safety glasses and welding gloves to work in the shop.
