Course description

This 6 week course will offer women an opportunity to learn about the basic tools and equipment commonly used in the fabrication industry. In addition, the course will cover the introduction to basic hand tools and power tools, thermal cutting processes as well as basic welding skills. This workshop has both a theoretical and practical component. No previous experience is required. Participants will create a small take home project.
