Effective Public Policy Research and Development for Healthy Communities

Code: RSCH1030

Course description

Public policy proposals for healthy populations recognize that levers for improving population health can often be found outside of health care itself and that there is a shared social responsibility across all private and public sectors to “act upstream” to ensure outcomes favourable to health. This course compares theories and models of public policy research and development.
