Course description

Recommended: Basic knowledge in industrial machine control, electrical control systems and a general understanding of industrial occupational health and safety requirements Injuries caused by industrial machinery hazards can cause companies to lose control of their operating costs. Properly applied hazard control strategies can help to bring workplace injury costs under control. This course will expose the student to the basics of risk assessment, the application of safety related control systems, the principles of fault tolerance and the concept of control reliability.
