Course description

The influence of historical attitudes and perceptions of people with disabilities will be introduced in this course. Apprentices will discuss and review different models of understanding disabilities and how these contexts shape, enhance, and/or limit the response and treatment of people with disabilities. This course is part of the Developmental Services Worker program.
