Course description

This course highlights the importance of promoting and providing a high standard of safe, ethical care in the community-based environment. The focus is on the role of the personal support worker in terms of responding to situations of risk while working within the community. Emphasis is placed on how to collaborate effectively with the interprofessional team to ensure safety for individuals, families and themselves.
