Course description

Recommended: PROG1300 or PROG1400. Experience with Client-Side Scripting Using VBScript would be an asset. This course extends the knowledge you gained from Visual Basic.NET II or Visual C#.NET II to the world of Web development. ASP.NET is a server-based technology designed to create interactive HTML pages for the Internet or Intranet. Topics include: ASP.NET Server Controls, creating user controls and components, and configuring your ASP.NET applications. In addition, you will be introduced to database access through ADO.NET and Web services using XML.
