Course description

Recommended: PROG1290 or equivalent knowledge. This course builds on programming fundamentals. It exposes the student to Visual Studio.NET environment as it develops the skills in Visual Basic.NET. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to build complete programs, which conform to Windows standards. Topics include: the Microsoft Windows .NET Framework, object-oriented programming, file IO, arrays, advanced windows controls, multiple-document applications, and structured error handling.
