Course description

This course will introduce students to the core goal of photojournalism: exploring the human experience by creating narratives with documentary images. By following a set of ethical standards, students will be asked to act as photojournalists, covering varied assignments. In addition to being asked to create and select compelling images, students will be expected to construct succinct, factually accurate, and grammaticaly correct sentences to tell the stories behind their photos.
