Course description

In this course, the student will learn the fundamental concepts of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP). Students will develop the ability and tools necessary to apply these concepts to plan manufactured, purchased and finished goods inventory in a manual environment. Problem solving techniques will be used to propose solutions to changes in the plan to provide the best solution for an organization. Students will also learn how Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) impacts these processes and decisions in an organization.
