Course description

In this course, students will examine strategies needed to manage and support the demands of living with diabetes. Students will learn about the acute and chronic complications related to diabetes, and the aging process. Studies will identify ways to help clients reduce risk, promote self-care behaviours and examine self-management practices in relation to blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
