Course description

This course is designed to provide students with evidence-based knowledge and skills required in diabetes education. Students will examine teaching and learning theories to promote behaviour change with the adult learner. The clinical practice guidelines will be used as a guide to assist in maximizing self-management strategies to direct client interventions, improve outcomes and enhance quality of life.
