Using behavioural change theories as a guide, students are introduced to and engage in strategies of establishing and maintaining a positive and healthy lifestyle across the life span. Communication skills of counseling and active listening are developed to better understand the varied needs and desires of individuals seeking to make changes in their current lifestyle.
