Students learn about the structure of municipal governments and their power to enact bylaws and the importance of bylaws. A number of different municipal statutes are studied such as zoning bylaws, animal control bylaws and licensing. Students also learn about preparing for court in regard to offences against municipal codes and the importance of good note taking.
