Recommended: 2 years law office experience This course is intended to prepare students for the ILCO Real Estate Exam. Real Estate includes the purchase, sale, leasing and mortgaging of land and buildings. A law clerk might normally be involved in drafting and negotiations for approval of the contract between vendor and purchaser, investigating title, preparation of documents, details of financing, closing the transaction and communications with the client. Specialized knowledge of the applicable statutes, regulations and other official bulletins relating to real estate is essential. Participation in the assignments and discussion is deemed essential in order to properly prepare for the ILCO provincial exam. Course fees include Syllabus only.
