Course description

This course explores the specific needs of patients with cardiovascular emergencies. It covers advanced concepts of cardiovascular assessment and pathophysiology and the clinical management of cardiovascular dysfunction in an emergency setting, including related pharmacology and diagnostic testing, coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, aneurysms, congestive heart failure and the principles of ACLS will be discussed in detail. This course is part of the Emergency Nursing program.
