Course description

Advances in technology have altered and expanded the use of infusion therapy, both in the hospital and in the community. Healthcare professionals are responsible for the implementation and maintenance of this vital therapeutic tool. This course provides the student with knowledge of infusion therapy equipment and the legal responsibilities of the nurse when administering and maintaining infusion therapy. Case scenarios will be used to enhance the course content and assist students in applying information they have learnt.
