Course description

As an introduction to the field of health promotion, students will learn about the historical evolution of health promotion in Canada as well as the key features and values that shape health promotion practices today. Students will investigate the various social-psychological models and approaches that can be applied within the community, institutional and private-home setting for patients of all ages.
