Course description

Admission: Current Certificate of Registration - RN or RPN. Cytotoxic drugs are recognized as primary treatment for malignant disease. Knowledge of the treatment goals, modes of action of chemotherapeutic agents, principles of tumour growth and cell kill, and administration protocol are all essential for the safe and effective use of these drugs. This course is part of both the IV Therapy - Registered Nurse and Registered Practical Nurse programs.
