Course description

Recommended: A good working knowledge of Windows is essential. This course will give students a practical, hands-on set of skills for using the Internet. Topics include: an introduction to the Web; surfing; email and attachments; viruses; simple and advanced searching, and downloading. Emphasis will also be placed on learning the vocabulary and netiquette of the Internet and its components.
