Recommended: IFME0020 Introduction to Hydraulics, IFME1180 Introduction to Hydraulics or equivalent knowledge.This course examines the practical associations with industrial fluid power and industrial control systems. Students will discuss the fundamental principles as well as the practical applications of fluid power as it applies to industry. Students will participate in activities involving fluid power terminology, component sizing, simple circuit design, PLCs, and documentation. The hands-on approach provides an excellent learning environment with a significant focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving.
