Gearing-Up/Rider Refresher

Course description

This course gives students a hands-on opportunity to review and utilize motorcycle riding skills in a structured environment. Students review rider and equipment preparation and safe-street riding strategies. Students practice balance, braking, accelerating, turning, shifting, obstacle avoidance and tight manoeuvres. Students use college-owned motorcycles in this course and must have previous motorcycle experience as well as possess basic riding skills. Upon completion, students receive a Canada Safety Council Certificate which may provide a discount on insurance. Check with your insurance provider for eligibility.
