Course description

Work through a project from rough wood to completion. The project is preselected and alternates each semester. Layout, measuring, cutting, machining, joinery, assembly and sanding are included. Learn the proper use of hand and power tools. NOTE: Pad, pencils and a tape measure are required at the first class. Students must wear CSA approved safety glasses and footwear in the shop. A reasonable additional cost is required for project, depending on project chosen, this can range from $50 to $100.
