Course description

This course is intended for engineers and trades people involved in the installation of electrical equipment and/or the supervision of electrical contractors installing new equipment. This course provides an overview of the history, structure, interpretation and application of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. Special attention will be given to sections dealing with industrial installations, wiring methods, circuit protection, motor control and protection, lighting, grounding and bonding, high voltage installations and hazardous locations.
