Intervention: A Learning Centered Approach

Course description

This course will introduce students to the principles of learning centred approaches to designing and evaluating inclusive programs. Positive behavioural approaches and the ethical utilization of behavioural intervention techniques will be explored with the view of assisting individuals develop fulfilling and socially acceptable behaviours. Apprentices will demonstrate observation and documentation skills for the purpose of reporting progress. This course is part of the Developmental Services Worker program.
