Course description

This course is designed for students who have experience in medical transcription and who want to advance their transcribing, proofing and editing competencies required for creation of chartable medical documentation. Students will transcribe from audio files and edit audio and voice-recognition generated reports. A strong emphasis is placed on development of intuitive skills required to efficiently and accurately produce error-free, chart-ready medical documents for a variety of medical specialties. Students will further develop their speed, medical terminology vocabulary, English language and grammar skills.
