Course description

The student will interpret and transcribe dictation by physicians and other health care professionals regarding client assessment, work-up, therapeutic procedures, clinical course, diagnosis, and prognosis. The student will achieve mastery in language skills, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, spelling, formatting, and an operational knowledge of transcription equipment. The goal of this course is to enable the student to produce error-free documents in the health services setting.
